Personal..profile
Rachel trained with Deloitte & Touche within their business services group and specialised in agricultural accounting. She then became a project accountant with Triumph Motorcycles Limited, covering a number of projects i.e Intrastat in the UK, France, Germany and Sweden. Importing and exporting of goods in and outside Europe, investigating preferential schemes within the global market. The experience has influenced her research interests in the role of EU preferential tariffs when importing/exporting to non-EC countries.  She joined De Montfort University in 2009.
